This document outlines how New World Recruitment Ltd (NWR) uses and protects any information that is collected either when you use our website (https://newworldrecruitment.uk) or any of our services in which personal information is collected and stored.
NWR are fully committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected, and as such, any information collected and stored will be in line with the current General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
What information do we collect?
All information that NWR collects and stores are in line with/and are associated with job searching and employment law;
Contact Details – Name, address, email, phone numbers, professional social media accounts (LinkedIn, GitHub etc)
Personal Details – DOB, National Insurance Number, Proof of right to work, proof of address, financial information, DBS.
Employment History – CV, Linkedin Profile, Full details of past and current employment, employment & character references, copies of educational qualifications & certificates.
How do we store your data?
NWR stores all of your information either on our website which is hosted by https://volcanic.com, but only if you create your own candidate profile. All other information will be stored in our CRM/ATS system which is hosted by https://vincere.io. Both hosts are fully GDPR compliant, and you can access here each individual Policies directly on their websites.
Why do we store your data, and how do we use it?
NWR are an employment consultancy. We fulfil the hiring and talent requirements of the employers we work with, and by sourcing suitable jobs for candidates looking for new employment. To satisfy the need for both client types, we must build suitable profiles of both employer and individual in order to successfully carry out our lawful and legitimate business service.
Personal data is used either by explicit request when a candidate has applied for a specific role or when a candidate asks us to find them a new position.
We will also contact candidates, either by email or telephone, who have given us permission to hold their data, if we think a candidate would be suited for a role we are recruiting for.
NWR may also periodically send promotion emails, text messages, newsletters, and/or blogs about available jobs, recruitment services, advice, market research, or industry news which we think is suitable and helpful to you in your job search or as an individual.
During the recruitment process with a specific employer, NWR will send your information to a potential employer as part of your application, but only with your permission and the transparency that you are fully aware of who the intended recipient of your information is.
Access to your data is limited to NWR employees only, and NWR employees, current and future, are or will be GDPR compliant and understand the constraints within this privacy policy.
We will not sell, distribute, or lease your personal information to any third parties unless we are required to by law.
Individual Rights
At any time you have the right to request to ‘view’ any and all details NWR has on file for you, you have the right to be informed on how we use your data, the right to make any amendments to the data we store for you, the right to limit how we use your data, and the ‘right to be forgotten’
Retention of your Data
NWR will retain your data for no longer than is necessary.
