This role offers the opportunity to take full operational control over a Traineeship provision, put in the resource that's needed and grow it to the next phase of the businesses plans.
The company is based in the North West, but as the role could work remotely we are open on your location. The provider have a core focus servicing the Rail sector, and has successful provisions across commercial training as well as funded training through Apprenticeships and Traineeships.
Currently their Traineeship spend is sitting at circa £350/400k annually. With some strong employer links, and the demand for Trainees and new blood into the rail sector, it is proving to be a strong provision for them and one they want to grow to circa £1m per year spend. It's certainly achievable going from the demand and links they already have, but they need someone to come in and grab it by the horns and run the day to day operations of the provision, allowing the SLT to focus more strategically and support you with what's needed.
You don't need to have experience of delivering or running training in the Rail sector, but what is needed is a full understanding of how to successfully manage a Traineeship provision. This is a full operational role, from managing and hiring your tutors (perm and freelance), organising the team for sign ups, employer engagement, referrals, onboarding. Ensuring your delivery team have all the resources available to them to deliver remotely or onsite. This will be your baby to run from top to bottom.
Salary wise can be anywhere from £30-45k, plus bonus and other benefits. Remote working if preferred, or can be office based in Liverpool if it's your choice.
