We are looking for a motivated Sales person to come in and support, manage, and grow a young and hungry sales team.

The role is working for a company who operate in the Further Education and Training market. As a Training Provider (not a college or school) they sell a range of training programmes such as short courses, traineeships, and Apprenticeships to employers up and down the country.
Experience in the training industry is NOT required for this role. It can help of course, but it's not essential as this can be taught and you can be trained on the weird and wonderful world that is Further Education and Skill funding.

What is essential though is a strong sales background and work ethic. This will be a hands on Sales Team Leader role. You'll come into a small team, some of who are at the start of their own careers, and you'll very much lead by example and support the director with the management and performance of the team.
There is the opportunity to fast track into a Sales Manager role though. The starting salary will be £23-26k plus very good bonus (should hit circa £40k by just doing 'OK' in the role), and you'll be expected to move in to the Sales Manager role within 6-9 months, which will take your salary to £32,500 and still with a huge bonus potential on top.

So, there's a lot of incentives in this one. You'll be working for a director who has grown multiple businesses, and grown the careers of their own staff through motivation and support - i.e. you'll have a good mentor who will go out of their way to reward you on success - last month some of his team went to a red carpet even in London.

To re-cap - Sales Team Leader working in education, but the education experience is not required. You can come from any sales background, so long as you've got a strong track record of outreach and building/converting pipelines. Happy for someone to step in to the Team lead role, you don't necessarily have to have lead a team before. You've got to be hungry and want to bring people along with you.
