Position: Sales & Recruitment Manager
Location: Leicester
Package: £30,000 - £40,000
Working Location: Mainly office based

The further education market is incredibly buoyant currently, and it is set to continue in that manner for some time. With all the incentives, funding, and initiatives available at the moment it is allowing for competition, innovation, and more business opportunities. As such, we are seeing a wide range of smaller training providers coming to the floor with ambitions of delivering their programmes on a wider scale to make the same impact they have done in their smaller regions.

This is what we have here. This training provider has been around for a number of years, and has, until recently just delivered in parts of Leicester with more of a community focus. They deliver Apprenticeships, Traineeships, and AEB courses to local communities to have a social impact on creating better opportunities for those that come from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Now, with a number of contract wins they are looking to expand and continue their growth plans. As such we are looking for a Sales & recruitment manager to come in and take the lead on all things external relationships.

Your key focus will be on developing business relations with local businesses from a sales perspective, and you will also focus on the recruitment and attraction of learners onto the programmes you deliver.
you'll have a small team working under you, and you are walking into what is an established business with the various streams of referrals etc.

Your role, is to come in and expand on what is already in place and ramp up this side of the business.

Because of the nature of the role, you are already going to be experienced in the Further Education & Skills market. You'll need to have experience of multiple funded programmes and how they are delivered.

Being able to open up doors with a range of employers, authorities and connections is going to be key here.
longer term, the plan is to build a wider team around you to develop as the business continues to expand.

This will be more of an office based role, as you manage the internal team, but you will have the flexibility to go out and meet with stakeholders as you see fit.

This is more of a nice to have than an essential, but if you also have that operational experience within vocational learning we could look at a more senior and combined role.
