Position: Learner Progression Executive
Location: Manchester or Rotherham - currently remote, but will be more office based post lockdown
Salary: £24,000 and OTE of £30,000

This is a rather unique role, we are looking for someone to be that link between learners on Pre-Apprenticeship courses looking to progress on to apprenticeships or into employment.

There's a 'Salesy' focus in this role, but without the cold prospecting. This is more 'Partnership' and 'Relationship' based. The sales/target is to have 50% of pre-apprenticeship learners progress on to either a full Apprenticeship programme, or into employment - and it's your role to facilitate this and make it happen. All of this by the way, will evolve around Digital & tech based programmes/Apprenticeships.

So let me layout what this can look like and the relationships you will manage;

Learners - you will be a point of contact for all learners undertaking pre-apprenticeship programmes, and you will offer support and insight as to what they want to progress on to, i.e. which subject of Apprenticeship programme do they wish to progress on to (Digital Marketing, Software, Cyber etc). You're role is to then find the best solution whether that's a programme delivered in house, in which case work with the sales team to find a suitable work place for them. However, this could be a programme this provider doesn't deliver in which case, you will build relationships with other providers in order to guide this person into their desired route through referrals.

Internal Sales/Delivery Team - If you can facilitate the progression internally, you will work with the internal sales team to understand what opportunities they are uncovering that you could place the learner into - you will then conduct interview preparation and record video profiling's of the learner which can be used to support their interview process.

Other training providers - the employer doesn't deliver the full portfolio of tech apprenticeships, so where you cannot help someone progress internally, you will establish relationships with other training providers and set up a referral system in order to support that learner on to their desired apprenticeship programme.

I hope all the above makes sense. You'll have to have experience and knowledge of the Apprenticeship or funded education market, and you'll have a variety of sales/BD skills in order to establish and maximise all of the relationships above.
