Position: Head of Digital Apprenticeships
Location: Flexible working, with 2 days a week in Manchester
Package: £45,000 - £60,000

Digital & Tech apprenticeships have been consistently growing for a number of years now, and along with some of the newer programmes, plus the buzz around the digital skills gap - they are at the forefront of many employers and providers minds currently.

Yes, within the market you've got a small handful of the 'big' players who have been around IT & Digital Apprenticeships for many years. Outside of that, there are a number of smaller providers, whether that's regional are niche/specialist, that are doing fantastically well at raising the profile and working on that skills gap in their chosen region/niche.

So how about a provider that has the brand and fire power to start mixing it with the big boys?
not today, not tomorrow, but with the financial investment and reputation they already have in the funded FE space, that could very well be a reality in 2-3 years.

We are near the start of this journey and are looking for someone to join the business to lead on the growth of Digital & tech Apprenticeships.

Currently, they have a small provision in the Digital Marketing space which they deliver across the North of England. The strategy is to grow and add further programmes to the portfolio - but which ones? That will be lead by you.

The plan is to get the Apprenticeship provision to a TO of £5m per year. We want you to identify, build and run the programmes that will allow the provider to grow to this point. You will have full support of Operations, Quality, Sales & Curriculum. You have a small team of Skills Coaches, and will have the autonomy to hire the skills and technical knowledge required in order to deliver future Apprenticeship standards.

The wider business are pushing aggressively on all fronts, and with an exceptionally strong management structure in place - of which you will be a part of - the Group will be seen as a leading provider across multiple streams of funded Training and Skills delivery.

We need you to have experience in a senior role managing Apprenticeship provisions in the digital space. Whether this be one programme or a full portfolio, so long as you have the understanding of how Digital programmes run differently to other provisions.
You'll be a strong leader, who can support and performance manage your team, and also driven to succeed.
