Financial Accountant
Hybrid working 2/3 day split flexible. Office is Hammersmith, London.
£35,000 - £40,000

We're on the hunt for an ACCA/MCMI qualified Financial Accountant. This role will be working across a multi company group - 3 growing companies to be exact - and you'll be tasked with the budgeting, tax returns, payroll, account reconciliations etc across all 3 companies - ideally you'll have experience of working at a multi company group(s) previously - but this is a nice to have, not an essential.

You'll be entering the world of Further Education and Skills - no, this business isn't a school or college, but a commercial training provider that deliver training such as Apprenticeships, Adult Education, Traineeships (We can go in to far more detail on this when we speak to give you a more in-depth understanding). The market itself has seen £millions worth in funding over recent years, certainly since the covid pandemic, and has been at the heart of government initiatives like Kickstart, Restart, and the Apprenticeship Levy.

The provider are an ever growing presence in the FE market place, having start from small beginnings have now grown to be one of the leading names in the sector. One reason they have done so well in growing and retaining staff is through what they offer.
You'll see already that they offer a market leading salary for this type of role, with 25 days holiday plus the BHs, which rises a day per years services; L&D opportunities, Healthcare plans, plus smaller benefits such as perkbox and high street discounts.

Below are a few key points you'll want to know about the role / what's you'll be tasked with:

  • They use Xero, so an advanced understanding of Xero will be needed.
  • Monitoring and reporting on all financial information - cashflows, potential financial risks, payroll etc
  • Developing strategic and long term business plans
  • Financial reporting and communication with senior management
  • Payrolls & pension
  • Working with, and managing a small team.

We can go in to much more detail, but we hope this gives enough insight to gain some interest for a conversation. This is a great role on the market, a great salary, and an ever improving & growing training provider.
