Position: Employability Tutors
I'm fairly sure you'll have heard by now that Restart is kicking into gear, and it's primes and sub providers are beginning to mobilise their teams in order to spend their funded contracts come July 2021.
I want to add in here, that if you are reading this, work in this space, but feel this role isn't quite right for you - then please still get in touch as we are going to have such a wide range of roles within the Employability sector over the coming months, I'm confident we can help.
So, Manchester City, brand new restart contract, new offices, new teams to mobilise and grow - it's exciting right?
We are looking for experienced Employability Tutors to join a new centre at the start of it's contract which will be ramped up very quickly. You'll have plenty of experience delivering Employability based training, and for these contracts much of the delivery is unaccredited and doesn't include Functional Skills - however, if you have experience in both of these it would be ideal as from time to time an accredited course may be added, or some participants may need 1-2-1 support with Maths & English.
The biggest part of the role will be developing training sessions and programmes, that are employer lead in order to best prepare a group of learners for employment with a particular employer. So above the standard CV writing, employment training, you may also add in health & safety, manual handling, digital skills, customer service etc.
We are ideally looking for people who are experienced in the Employability/Welfare to work, or education sector.
You will be joining a brand new centre, and a rapidly growing provision with multi million £s to spend in the area.
You are going to be vital in the successful delivery of this contract.
