Position: Employability Business Manager
Location: Manchester
Salary: £40,000 plus bonus

Restart is finally upon us. Providers have found out their allocations, and supply chains are starting to mobilise. There is going to be so much opportunity on the market, and any one working within the contracts is going to play aa vital part in supporting the unemployed market back into employment.

So, starting off with some fantastic roles, we are looking for someone to lead on the day to day operations of the restart contract one provider has just won. You will be working on a contract worth just over £8m to be spent across Manchester City centre in helping people back in to work.

Reporting into the Operations Manager for the contract, you will have day to day responsibility for the Teams of Advisers and BDMs, as well as a number of Team Leads as this builds up speed over the rest of the year.

Ideally you'll have experience within the Employability market as a Centre Manager, Performance or Contract manager. You'll know the intricacies of supporting the unemployed back into work, and the nuances that come with managing a similar contract effectively.

You'll have performance management over your direct reports, which from day 1 could be as many as 5/6 and rising to 20+ over the next 12 months. Of which, you will directly recruit for in order to build your teams.

This is a vital role in the success of the Restart contract in the area, and as such they employer are investing in a new office to solely deliver on this programme. You will be very hands on with the role, and will need to be office based to oversee the performance and delivery of your team.

With contracts going live in July, we ideally want someone available to join the business in May or June in order to start planning for the work ahead.
