Position: Business Development Manager
Market: IT & Digital Apprenticeships
Location: Nottingham - can offer Remote working for experienced BDMs
Package: £25,000 - £40,000 plus commission
The Apprenticeship market has seen a lot of new coverage over the past 6 months with the Government Incentives and the Kick Start Scheme, but also with Boris's Skills Guarantee, 2021 is set to be a huge year for the market - even more so in IT & Digital Apprenticeships as more and more people will want to access these programmes.
But you'll know this already, as you've been working in this market a little while, ideally on some form of Professional Service based Apprenticeship programmes.
This Training Provider is still in start up mode. Recently approved to deliver in Apprenticeships, their target in the main is the Digital & IT market. This side of the market has seen huge growth over recent years, and is set to continue as it is estimate that nearly 90% of us need upskilling in IT & Digital Skills.
Although start up, their aims are ambitious and they want someone who can come in and match their enthusiasm.
The biggest thing here is, the ability to develop new relationships as this will be your main remit in the early days. It's a new market out there at the moment, how might you do things differently to engage employers when everyone is doing the same thing?
You'll see we have quite an open salary banding. That's because we are open to someone more a junior as much as a seasoned BDM.
Junior - Will have to be local and more office based. You will work closely with the CEO and generating leads, opening new relationships, and the CEO will support you, help you grow, and work with you to close those accounts.
Seasoned BDM - if you've got a full understanding of the Apprenticeship market, strong track record, and fancy the chance of making a real impact to a small provider, then we can be more flexible on location providing you can get to Nottingham 1-2 days a week, and we can go towards that £40k mark on salary.
Either way, we need driven BDMs for this one.
