Position: Business Development Executive - Apprenticeships
Location: Norfolk
Package: £24,000 - £30,000 DOE plus Commission

I always get excited when I work with this employer, they are a small, close knit training provider based out of Norwich. They have a clear direction of the business and a clear identity of what they specialise in - this is a key component to have in the ever changing world of FE, and is a great USP - that identity and specialism is delivering Apprenticeships that service the Financial Services markets, which includes Insurance & mortgages.

2020, in contrast to the many, was a very strong year for them. So much so the grew, continued to hire, and win new contracts. 2021 is set to be even stronger hence why they are looking to grow their sales team and strengthen their position in the market.

You'll ideally already have experience of working within Apprenticeships and Further Education, but we could perhaps look outside of this if you can demonstrate the ability to sell into HR departments.

We are open at hiring more of a junior and nurturing you into the role, as well as hiring someone with more direct experience within the market.

You will be targeting both small and large employers across the UK, and the programmes you specialise in all come with significant funding bands (i.e. they are worth a fair bit of money). In terms of competition, it is not the most diluted Apprenticeship market, with a few smaller names, but you do and will come up against some of the 'bigger names' in the market. However, and recent success shows this, that this provider is making a very good name for themselves and winning business from the 'bigger' companies already.

They are a great employer, offer plenty of support, reward well, but that's not to say that have high expectations!
