Position: Apprenticeship Skills Coach
Location: Remote (home based)
As the FE market continues to recover from the effects of Covid, we are seeing many providers adapt, change direction, recover and all other adjectives you might use to show positivity. This particular provider are really motoring across Apprenticeships (Thank you incentives) and other provisions that they have introduced this year.
As such we are hiring a new Skills Coaches to join their business. This is addition to a number of new hires already made this year. We are looking for someone to cover the level 2-3 standards in Customer Service, Business Admin, and Team Leader - Recruitment would be a big bonus. Worth pointing out, the role is completely remote based - more on this below
I won't spend too much time on requirements, but simply you'll already been in an Apprenticeship Coaching/Trainer role, with knowledge on up to date standards for the above. You'll be qualified as such as well with Training/teaching & Assessing qualifications, and you will be comfortable and able to work & deliver remotely using Zoom.
So why this provider?
These guys are probably one of the more long standing training providers in the market, operate on a national scale, grade 2, and have been in a good place for many years. All very good reasons to cast an eye on them as a potential employer, however this will be the real pull for the right people - they are going through a period of change across the company.
2020 has been the boost to them that it has been to many, and they are implementing a number of changes across the business including new provisions and qualifications to deliver. The biggest change you will experience is the transition from the more traditional face to face learning, to remote and distance learning in the apprenticeship provision (hence why this role is remote). Zoom is the video platform of choice, that ties nicely into their online learning system. You will need to be competent in this, as you will be delivering group workshops as well as the 1-2-1 coaching of each learner.
As a business, they have a very inclusive culture across the whole company. Although remote, you certainly won't be in exile, they have already created a great support network - more than when it was more office based, to ensure every member of the business has support and great communication.
2021 will see even more change throughout the business, but all for positive reasons to push the business further in what is going to be a very buoyant market - fancy being a part of it?
